Maria Shane, 87, passed in her sleep on Friday, August 1, 2014.
She was born in Calipatria, California on April 26, 1927. Maria came from a large family that included 6 brothers and 5 sisters and lived most of her life in El Centro, California before moving to Chandler, Arizona in 2011.
Maria is survived by her only child, Michael Shane and his wife Lonnie. She is also survived by 3 sisters; Gloria, Lupe and Ramona; by 3 brothers; Raul, Henry, and Joe; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley in her name, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
