Lisa M (Ackerman) Rowland was born on October 30, 1959. She was born in Richfield, Minnesota and later moved to Colorado with her family. She attended elementary school in Broomfield, Colorado and middle and high school in Evergreen, Colorado. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Lisa married Harold Rowland after college and lived in Fort Collins, Colorado before moving to Phoenix, Arizona.
Lisa was an ambitious person and worked in Customer Service for various companies, including Chase Bank and McKesson. She had a personal interest and talent in arts and crafts. A number of her drawings were displayed, and she received commendations for her talented work.
She was strong in spirit despite her medical impairments caused by Lupus in her adult life. After suffering a stroke and kidney transplant, she never lost her perspective in life. She remained strong with activity in her church and relationships with family, friends, and relatives.
Lisa passed away on January 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Ackerman, and is survived by her father, Larry Ackerman, brother, Kyle Ackerman and sister Lynn Butts and their spouses.
