Jack was born in Waco, Texas on May 9th, 1933 to Lester (Jack) Miller and Sarah Bernice Miller. Jack graduated from Baylor University in 1955. Jack met the love of his life Charlotte “Lottye” at Baylor and they were married for 66 years. Jack served in the United States Air Force. Early in his Air Force career he was stationed at Williams Air Force Base where he fell in love with Arizona. Jack moved his family to Arizona in 1962.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Miller; son, Craig Miller; daughter, Shellye Smith (Roger); brother and sister of Texas, Douglas Miller, Lillian “Sissy” Foster (Steve); grandchildren, Josh, Andrew, Taylor, Tobye, Tayt; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jasper and Zoeylyn.
After serving his country, Jack worked for Texas Instruments and eventually Motorola after moving to Arizona. Jack left the semi-conductor world and began buying and developing several businesses and continued to manage them until his retirement.
Jack’s favorite retreat was his Cabin in the White Mountains that is cherished by many and will continue to be a gathering place for family and friends to carry on his legacy of loving God and people.
