He was born in North Vietnam and served as a captain for the South Vietnamese army. He left Vietnam at the end of the war in 1975 and immigrated to Indiana as a refugee. He worked as an electrician for Inland Steel Mill in Indiana for over 30 years. He was married to his wife, Tuyet Nhung Le, for 50 years. They had 5 children together, Joseph, Mary, Peter, David and John.
Anthony loved to be surrounded by his 10 grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. He had started a family tradition where all his children and grandchildren would gather together every Christmas for a family reunion for the last 15 years. He always emphasized the importance of family and being there for each other and loving each other unconditionally.
Anthony had a love for good food and wine. He always planned out what to eat when his children and grandchildren come home. At every gathering, there was always an abundance of good food for all to enjoy. He had a generous heart and was always willing to help others near and far. He will leave a lasting impression on the lives of those he touched.
He is survived by his wife, Tuyet Nhung Thi Le; his children Joseph ( Wife Natalie), Mary (Husband Steeve) and Peter (Wife Denise); his grandchildren Victoria, Tiffany, Tanya, Jonathan, Noah, Isabelle, Eric, Emily, Kaitlyn and Olivia. Services will be held at St. Andrew's Church. Anthony will be laid to rest at Valley of the Sun Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona.
