Robert B. Moore Jr., 72, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Saturday September 9, 2023.

Born on March 26, 1951 in Upper Darby Township to the late Robert B. Moore Sr. and Alice (Schlater) Moore.

He is preceded in death by his stepson Mark Carson.

Surviving Robert is his loving wife Sarah (Sally Coffman) Moore; daughters Kathleen, Julie, Jaclyn and Christine, son David, and stepsons Scott Carson and Dan Swadis, and his sisters Ginny and Nancy. He was a proud Pop Pop to 7 grandkids: Charlie, Gage, Lily, Caroline, Charlie, Owen, Chase and Elizabeth.

He was a proud active fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus. While enjoying his retirement, he enjoyed working at Boswell’s Cigar shop, and volunteering his time including office of the aging and Corpus Christi Church events. Music was his passion which he was able to share through practicing with his band “The House Band” (where he was known as OneNote), volunteering and in the church choir. His other passion was his dogs Murphy and Casey. He was an alum of Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 19, 2023 from 11:00-12:00 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church; 320 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Parklawns Cemetery, 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201. A time for food and fellowship will take place back at the church at the conclusion of the graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Knights of Columbus Council 1426, 336 East Garfield Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
