She was the daughter of the late Russell M. and Edna E. Smith Fields.
Helen was of the Protestant faith.
She retired in 1997 from the Chambersburg Area School District, where she had been employed as a cafeteria worker for 27 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall, on January 14, 2015.
Helen is survived by two daughters, Marsha and husband Bill Leach of Shippensburg, PA., and Diana Trail and husband Angel Hernandez of Tampa, FL., and one grandson Joey and wife Lacy Washabaugh of Martinsburg, WV.
Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Rachel (Mrs. Harold Boyer) and RuthAnna (Mrs. David Fogelsanger).
At the family’s request, Funeral Services will be private.
The Robert L. Hendricks Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements; Burial will be at Parklawns Memorial Garden.
