Arthur E. Guyer

Born on April 26, 1946 in Chambersburg, to the late Donald F. Guyer and Elsie (Osler) Guyer Little.

Surviving Art is his loving wife of 57 ½ years, Frances (Fran) Guyer; daughter, Tammy Damore; son, Eric Guyer, and his wife Stacey; his four granddaughters whom he loved deeply, Olivia, of Boston, MA, Sophia, of Shippensburg, PA, Hayley, of Morgantown, WV, and Payton, of Chambersburg, PA; his sisters, Kathleen and Jeanette; and his brother, Ronnie.

Preceding him in death are two brothers, Donnie and Kenny Ray.

Art worked for 42 years at A&P, as a night stock clerk and night captain.

Art was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to walk and hike in the woods, looking for wildlife and loved working in his yard.

A memorial will be held on Monday August 7, 2023 at 11:00am at Parklawns Funeral Home; 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201 with Rev. Harold Yeager officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00am – 11:00am. Inurnment will follow the memorial service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
