It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mable Louise Tardo, 77, who left us peacefully on January 4, 2025. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Tina Fos (Bert), Ron Tardo and Brian Tardo; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Alex), Elisha (Ricky), Jordan, Nicole and Logan; her great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Angelo and Miley; her siblings, Fay Gottlieb and Kathy Silva. Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Laverne “Mickey” James Tardo; her parents, John Frazier and Francis Marie Frazier; her siblings, Johnnie Mae Kemp, Alton Frazier, Harold Frazier and Paul Frazier. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Louise was a devoted mother who always placed the needs of her children above her own, offering unconditional love and guidance throughout their lives. Her love for her family was truly boundless, and she created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and memories. She enjoyed her time at the casino and playing bingo. Above all, Louise missed her beloved husband deeply. Their love was an inspiration, and she often spoke of him with affection, reflecting on the wonderful life they shared. Her heart will forever hold him close. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
