Joyce Ann Bayhi

Joyce Ann Nolting Bayhi passed away peacefully on January 1, 2022 at the age of 69. She was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of Arabi, LA. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a loving wife of Bert Bayhi Sr. Caring mother of Michelle Bayhi, Bert Bayhi Jr.(Belinda), Christopher Bayhi (Lisa) and bonus son Anthony Jeansonne. She was a proud grandmother of Ashley Bayhi, Joseph Manes, Jacob Manes, Nicholas Bayhi, Emma Bayhi and Olivia Bayhi. Joyce was the sister of Linda Ann smith, Shirlee Jeanfreau, Joseph Nolting and Earl Nolting. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Melvin Nolting and Elenora Theresa Scherer; her siblings Diane Moran and Kenneth Nolting.

Joyce took great pride in caring for her husband of 50 years and kids. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids. Joyce enjoyed working for the school system where she took pride in making sure the school was clean so the kids will have a clean place to learn. Christmas was her favorite time of year because she enjoyed all the beautiful Christmas lights. She was greatly loved and will be missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday January 12, 2022 from 11:00AM- 12:30PM. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady Of Prompt Succor, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA begin at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens
