Eugene “Capt. Curly” Joseph Morales Sr. passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 79. He was the loving husband of Velma Morales for 60 years. Proud father to Mark Morales and Eugene J. Morales Jr. Caring brother to Mary Louise Molero, Joy Menesses, Alex Morales Jr. and Charles Morales; grandfather to Justin Morales, Megan Bond, Devin Morales and Chassidy Morales; great grandfather to Malakia and Baileigh. Preceded in death by his parents, Alex Morales Sr. and Mildred Evans and his brother Danny.
Eugene was a native of Delacroix Island. He was a Commercial Fisherman for many years. His greatest pleasure was caring for his wife and family. Eugene was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by us all.
