It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edward G. “Bubby” Everhardt Jr., who departed this world at the age of 75. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, great and great-great uncle, whose presence brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. Edward is survived by his mother, Lucretia Billiot Everhardt; his sisters, Rosemary E. Gagliano, Linda E. Buras (Frank) and Rita Ann E. Riviere (Barry); his god sons, Paul and Ryan; his nieces and nephews, Donna, Joey, Rachelle, Jeff, Jennifer, Barry, RaeAnn and Rachel; his great and great great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his companion Robin Green that he affectionately called his “main squeeze”. Bubby is preceded in death by his father, Edward G. Everhardt Sr.
A man of simple pleasures, Bubby had a deep love for music, often filling the air with melodies and rhymes that he crafted with his own unique flair. His love for food was equally renowned, and many cherished moments were spent enjoying meals and stories with him. One of Edward’s greatest joys was spending time with his ten nieces and nephews during their childhood. Whether it was taking them on adventures or just sharing moments of laughter, he was always there, ready to support and love them with a full heart. He was the type of person who would drop everything and go anywhere, his adventurous spirit always ready for a new journey whenever the call came. Bubby leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and music. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, forever remembered by those who loved him.
