Steffani White Deerman, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 5:44 am at Vaughn Regional Medical Center in Selma, Al. Steffani was born September 2, 1958 to Roy Fitts Jr. and Sally Bert Fitts. She was a 1976 graduate of West Blocton High School and was married to Bobby Deerman, on May 1, 2019. She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren, and loved cooking for her family .
Steffani is preceded in death by her parents Roy Jr and Sally fitts, and her brother, James Marion Fitts. In addition to her husband, Bobby Deerman, she is survived by her children Jason Todd (Beth) and Gina Whitfield (Chris); bonus children, David Deerman (Sharon), Phillip Deerman (Britney), and Heather Lenseigne (Phillip); her siblings, Lynn Hobson (Wade), Edward Fitts, Beth Garner, as well as her step mother Mildred Ann Perry. Steffani will be missed by a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Steffani will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, West Blocton, Alabama. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 11:30 AM, West Blocton, Alabama. A burial will occur Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Mt Carmel Cemetery, Mt Carmel Rd, West Blocton, Alabama 35184.
Serving as pallbearers are Cason Todd, Alex Campbell, Jared Holifield, Kent Savoie, Brandon Fitts and Bradley Lenseigne.
