Linda worked as a nurse at the VA for 10 years. She has worked all of her life and was a very hard worker. There is no limit for what she would do for her children and grandchildren. She was also a big fan of Alabama football. One of her favorite things to do was fish. If she wasn't fishing, she was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald Miller; children, Derrick Miller, Steven Miller, Angela Miller, and Teresa Nye (Randy); grandchildren, Kassidy Miller, Christopher Dailey, Legend Martin, Legacy Chavez, Dalton Miller, Alexis Miller, Alana Miller, Savannah Miller, Maghen Miller, Grace Miller, Tristan Miller, Brailen Miller, Ralph Miller, Elsie Miller, Taylor Scott, Kaylieh Scroggins, Jessica Beard, Trevor Lake, and RJ Nye; sister, Patricia Hollingsworth; nieces and nephews, Johnathan Jackson, Kimber Weatherly, Anna Jackson, Destiny Jackson, Taylor Jackson, and Kevin Jackson.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ralph Miller, Sr.; her parents, Ralph and Bobbie Jackson; brothers, Ralph Dewayne Jackson and Ricky Jackson; and nephew, Christopher Weatherly.
A visitation for Linda will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Her final resting place will be at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Duncanville, AL.
Serving as pallbearers are Derrick Miller, Steven Miller, Jabo Sturdivant, Joshua Martin, Kenneth Pate, Nick Gaddy, Tommy Martin, and Kevin Jackson.
