Lewis Eugene Majors, passed away on September 1, 2024. Eugene was born March 24th, 1947 to Ester Lorene Majors and Lewis Ray Majors. He was an avid fisherman and skilled carpenter. Known for craftsmanship and love of outdoors. His storytelling and friendliness made him beloved figure in his community, where he formed many cherished friendships. One of his greatest pleasures was spending time on the Cahaba river where he made many memories with his family.
Eugene is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis "Bud" Ray Majors and Ester Lorene Majors; brother, Michael Earl Majors; son, Troy Eugene Majors.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Pierce; brother, Jimmy Majors; daughter, Julie Majors Barnett (Mark); grandsons, Jonas Greyson Barnett and Michael Troy Majors; great-grandson, Easton Majors; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Eugene will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 12-1 at Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville, Al with a funeral service at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
