December 21, 2023. She was born on October 28, 1960, in Marion,
Alabama, to Annie Ruth Moore and the late John Thomas Moore,
III. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, C J Hunt, as well
as her father, paternal grandparents JT Moore and Bertha Lee Moore,
and maternal grandparents Clifford Poole and Miriam Poole.
Barbara is survived by her loving mother, Annie Ruth Moore; her
sisters, Patricia (James) Jordan and Pamela (Phillip) Milam; her
brother, Tommie (Susan) Moore; and her son, Jason (Tracy) Hunt.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Barbara attended Perry Christian School and later graduated from
Southern Academy. She dedicated her career to serving as Store
Manager at Napa, where she made lasting contributions and touched
the lives of many.
Barbara attended Pine Grove Baptist Church, where she found solace
and strength in her faith. She cherished her time spent worshiping
and being part of the church community.
Barbara enjoyed being part of the Messengers of the Cross
Motorcycle Ministry where her husband CJ Hunt was the founder.
Messengers of the Cross is a group dedicated to spreading the
message of faith and hope. Her dedication to this cause brought joy
and inspiration to those around her.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Barbara's life will be held
on January 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Brent,
Al. (Heiberger) All friends and family are invited to attend and pay
their respects to a woman who touched so many lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Barbara. Your Support will help continue her legacy of compassion and love for children in need.
The Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville, Alabama.
