George Michael Knight

He was born in Raymond, WA on May 30th, 1941 to George and Elsie (Jacobson) Knight. After graduating Raymond High School in 1959 he enlisted in the Army and married the love of his life, Sandra Rowlett. After serving 4 years he purchased and operated Pacific Grinding and Machinery before beginning his long career at Weyerhaeuser until he retired. After retirement he enjoyed driving the school bus for the Raymond School District.

Mike was an avid elk hunter and spent many days fishing on the Columbia River. He also enjoyed, motorcycle racing, ATV riding, clam digging, camping and sports. Mike was a devoted family man who loved, more than anything, spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Truly loved and adored, Mike will be forever missed by his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra who resides in the family home, 3 children; Doug (Dianna) Knight, Connie Knight and Lisa Knight, 10 grandchildren; Ryan, Sheena, Richie, Steven, Ashley, Alvin, Kyle, Tristan, Cali and Cori, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister Judy Keating.
