Bonita Jeane Wieburg, beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on June 5, 1950, she was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and creativity to those who knew her. Bonnie was raised and grew up in Eastern Washington in the Spokane area moving to the Tri-Cities where she attended high school.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her first husband James Thompson, her father Roy Fisher, and her mother Jeane Ames. She leaves behind her devoted husband, David Wieburg, her brother Don Fisher, and her cherished stepchildren Mike Thompson and Sue, Dave Thompson and Rhonda, Ron and Darleen Thompson, Kevin Wieburg, Daryn and Virginia Wieburg, and Kurt and Michelle Wieburg. Her step grandchildren Richard Thompson, Jennifer and Cody Head, Chrissie and Kevin King, Selina and Dustin Passage, Dylan Wieburg, Justin Wieburg, Jered Wieburg, and Chris Wieburg. Bonnie also took great pride in her role as a step-great-grandmother to Ryatt Head, Bryan King, and Brooklyn Passage, who will carry her memory forward.
Bonnie's passion for dance was a significant part of her life, leading her to meet David, who became her partner in love and in life. An avid reader, she found joy in the written word and often lost herself in books that transported her to new worlds. Her creativity shone through in her crafting; whether she was sewing, embroidering, or creating unique pieces, Bonnie poured her heart into every project. Her crafts were not only gifts to her loved ones but also treasures sold at local craft fairs alongside close friends.
Bonnie will be remembered for her warm heart, and the light she brought into the room. Her legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
