Catherine T. Florio

Catherine T. Florio, 50, of Lake Grove, New York, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael, and their two daughters, Aliana and Jenna. Loving daughter to Carol and the late Arthur Mott. She was a cherished sister to Susan Hosie (the late Thomas), Joanne Weller (Michael), Christine Spitaleri (Carl), and Donna Becker (Scott). She was an adored daughter-in-law to Michael W. and Gina Florio, and a dear sister-in-law to Theresa Silipo (Mark). Catherine was also a devoted aunt to Ryan, Jessica, Kelly, Caitlin, Brendan, Ashley, Amanda, Samantha, Joseph, Nicholas, Ashleigh, and Christian.

Catherine had a passion for life, always filled with warmth, kindness, and a sense of humor. She was a lover of cats, puzzles, games, and 90s rock music. Her love for comedy movies brought laughter to those around her, and she was especially devoted to supporting her daughters in their dance activities, where she played an active role in every step of their journey.

Her vibrant spirit, boundless love, and dedication to family will be missed beyond words.

Visitation will be held at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720, on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 PM & 6:00-8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Centereach, NY. Interment will follow at Queen of All Saints Cemetery, Central Islip, NY.
