Wendy Kaye Crowell

Wendy is survived by her husband Jason and daughters Taylor, Caitlin and Avery; Mother and Step Father Phyllis and Ron Allen; Father and Stepmother Dustin and Patricia Rhodes; Father in law Van Crowell; her sister Crystal Rader; Grandmothers Georgia Bentley and Mary Balcomb; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Shella Raye Webster of Soldotna, AK; grandmother Louise Rhodes of Kenai, AK and niece Riley Rhodes of Anchorage, AK.

Wendy was born on May 8th, 1977 in Soldotna, AK to Dustin and Phyllis Rhodes. She graduated from Kenai Central High School in 1995. Over the next three years, the couple welcomed three beautiful daughters into their home. Her children remember her as a fun loving, supportive mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Wendy was accomplished at many things and had a special love for music. She was a funny, quick-witted woman who loved everyone and who was passionate about animals. She was an active and dedicated member of her daughter’s extracurricular activities, especially ice hockey and cheerleading.

A funeral is scheduled for Saturday, February 17th at 2pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Wendy's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ASPCA. The family would like to thank all of their family and friends for their support in this difficult time.
