Virginia “Dawn” McClure was born to Charles Keithly and Garnett Eugenia (Yocum) Rummerfield on July 22, 1916 in Denver, Colorado and died peacefully October 27, 2016 at The Denver Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Denver, Colorado.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents and one sibling, her husband Ernest and daughter Katherine Lierley. She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Dean) Allan, Westminster, Colorado and Sharon (Doyle) Shockley, Arvada, Colorado; her son Dennis McClure, Buena Vista, Colorado; her son-in-law, Kenneth Lierley, Paxton, Nebraska; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, as well as 4 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
Dawn was a homemaker and co-owner/bookkeeper for her husband Ernest's business, Southeast Alignment in SE Denver, until he retired and sold the business in 1978. She was a member of Calvary Temple for many years.
A Celebration of Life for Dawn will be Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
