11/12/1955 - 11/4/2023
67 Years Old
Vickie was born on November 12, 1955, to Russell and Marcella (Roy) Eigenberg in Englewood, Colorado. She went to be with Jesus peacefully on November 4, 2023, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her puppy Jack, parents Marcella (1981) and Russell (2012), brother Terry Eigenberg (2003), and grandson Aaron Toney (2013).
She is survived by her puppy Presley, husband Jay, sons Jimmy (Samantha) Toney and Joshua (Deanna) Toney, grandchildren Bentley (Amber), Shelby (Alec), Hannah (James), Josh (Hailey), Hailey and Eli, great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Matteo, brother Brad (Valerie), and nieces and Nephews Terry, Tami, Bradley and Brianna.
Vickie demonstrated the love of her Lord and Savior Jesus, in her sacrificial love for her family. She was never more than a call away to help in any possible way without question. Family was everything to her and she never defined family by blood, but by love. Many people were “adopted” into her family over the years. Vickie was “mom” to many more than just her two boys. She was who you went to to fix any situation or problem that came up. Vickie was the glue that held everything together.
She spent her career working at Diners Club International, as a fraud investigator, for 20 years and later working side by side with her son Josh for 15 years, building an online retail business together.
Vickie was always the life of the party and brightened up every room she stepped into. She was witty, hilarious, and fun, and her laughter was loud and contagious. She was passionate and stubborn and never hid her emotions. You always knew where you stood with her.
Vickie had a passion for creating beautiful homes. She was amazing at remodeling, staging, and decorating. Her homes were always open to everyone and often had those in need occupying one of the rooms temporarily. Her home is where you would go for coffee, laughter, drinks, and encouragement.
Vickie was able to take several trips with her family including multiple trips to Mexico and several cruises. She loved spending hours watching the ocean and waves in awe of God’s creation.
After overcoming many adversities in life, Vickie finished strong. As she did her whole life, she fought the good fight with the strength of her faith, never giving up, right until the very end.
