Sheila Barnes

Sheila Barnes, age 84, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Sheila was born August 4, 1933. She is preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Ellen (Cotter) and Frederick George Hoare; her twin sister, Pat Vigor; brother, Brian Hoare and brother-in-law, Mike Barnwell. Sheila is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Barnes of Highlands Ranch, CO; sons, Jeff (Diane) Barnes of London, England and David (Susan Phillipy) Barnes of Lakewood, CO; daughter, Suzanne (Marc) Lippitt of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Meredith (Brian) Mankwitz, Chloe Barnes, Paul (Tali) Lippitt, Jennifer (Simon Davidson) Barnes, Cara (Ryan Buehler) Lippitt, Megan Barnes, Jared Barnes, Caitlin Barnes, and Justin Barnes; great-grandchildren, Elise Mankwitz, Anna Lee Mankwitz, Bennett Lippitt and Vivian Lippitt; sister, Ann Barnwell of Canterbury, England; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

A private, family graveside service was held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
