Sandra Ann Reade

Sandra Ann Reade’s love of life didn’t come to an end despite her death. Sandy, 69, of

Thornton, Colorado died on February 6th, 2023 after a 30 year battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Sandy was born in Seekonk Massachusetts on October 23rd, 1953. At 18 she left Seekonk for

New York to become a model and appeared in several magazines. After retiring from modeling

she became a Mom and a Real estate agent in California. Soon after the birth of her second

child the family moved to Colorado. She kept busy raising her kids as a single mom landing her

dream job as a flight attendant. She was a flight attendant for 20 years and loved every minute,

but with her Parkinson’s diagnosis she retired and became devoted to helping others as a

sponsor with AA.

Sandy loved being with people, family, cooking, and sewing beautiful quilts. She was a loving

mother and grandmother with a do it herself attitude and never let her Parkinson’s get in the way

of being true to herself and her family.

She is survived by Donovan Reade, Jennifer Reade, Kailee Ware, Avery Feagans, Jayden

Feagans, Everlett Ware, Ahsoka Ware, Raymond Miyamoto, Shawna Miyamoto, Carla Reade,

and Charlie Ware. She was preceded in death by her parents Etta and John DiPietro and

brother John DiPietro.

Her memorial service will be on Sunday, March 26th at Olinger Chapel in Thornton at 10201

Grant Street, Thornton, 80229 from 12:00pm-2:00pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to The
