Sam was born on October 9, 1952, to Ernest and Iris in Denver, Colorado. He married Gwen on Friday, the 25th of June 1971 at Edgemont Church of the Nazarene. Sam and Gwen had 3 children, Sammy, Heather, and Danny. Sam worked as a fire alarm technician. He was a member of Bethel Christian Fellowship, NRA, AMA, Rat Club, and PADI-certified dive master. He enjoyed scuba diving, riding motorcycles, photography, shooting guns, listening to music, classic films, and most of all spending time with his family.
Sam is survived by his wife Gwen of 52 years, his sons Sammy and Danny, his daughter Heather and her husband Mark, his grandchildren Kaylee, Daryian, Justin, and Cody, his great-grandchildren, his brother Dan, his wife Dolly, and niece Lisa, and nephews Justin and Dustin.
A memorial service for Sam will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wrigley's Chicago Bar & Grill, 18200 W Colfax Ave, Golden, CO 80401. Food will be served buffet style.
