It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Nicole Jean Davis on September 3, 2024, at the age of 49. Nicole battled multiple sclerosis for half of her life, yet she never allowed it to define or limit her. Her unwavering positive attitude, strength and infectious smile were an inspiration for everyone who knew her. We will miss her more than words can say.
Nicole was born on December 11, 1974, in Youngstown, Ohio to her devoted parents, Donna J. Davis and Thomas E. Davis. She made her home in Lone Tree, Colorado where she surrounded herself with beauty, friendship and love.
A 1993 graduate of Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado, Nicole embarked on a diverse and fulfilling career. She held positions such as Executive Assistant at eCollege, Personal Assistant at Romack International and Design Coordinator at both D.R. Horton and Creative Touch Interiors. Along the way, she built lifelong friendships touching the lives of so many with her kindness and compassion.
Nicole’s artistic talents were many and deeply personal. Her custom handmade greeting cards, invitations and scrapbooks were more than just crafts – they were expressions of love and creativity and each one crafted with great care. These beautiful works of art were a reflection of her generous spirit.
Traveling was one of Nicole’s greatest joys. She cherished her trips to the Caribbean, where she snorkeled in the crystal-blue waters and captured breathtaking moments through her photography, which she proudly displayed throughout her home.
A devoted sports fan, Nicole cheered on her favorite teams – the Colorado Avalanche, Rockies and the Denver Broncos – attending as many games as she could. She was also an avid concertgoer, attending more shows than could be counted, always eager to experience the energy and joy of live music.
Nicole leaves behind her loving parents, Tom and Donna Davis, her brother Brian, his wife Fatima and her cherished nephew Andrew. She will also be deeply missed by her special cousins Lenny and Christy Ciccarone and their children Grant and Avery; her Aunts MaryAnn Guerrieri, Sandra Ciccarone, Donna (Sam) Davis and Debbie (Jeff) Saluga; her cousins Larry Hetrick, Letty (Dan) Chuey, Linda (Pam) Middleton, LaTonya Jones, Erika (Wayne) Cornelious, Craig Randall, Erin (Brent) Centofanti and Corey Saluga. Nicole was preceded in death by her grandparents Almeda & Andrew Ciccarone and Betty & Thomas Davis.
In addition to her family, Nicole leaves behind many close and beloved friends, most importantly her best friend Jim Swan, who will forever remember her kindness, warmth and laughter. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her. Though her absence leaves a void in our hearts, we take comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
A memorial service for Nicole will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
