I picked out an excellent memory/experience just one of many I shared with possibly the sweetest person I ever met. She and Jim came up to Minnesota far reasons I do not recall. Come on up. If you have time you two, We are going up to a premiere state treasure that is a must visit. The big lake  they call Superior our inland freshwater ocean. Away we go. They were impressed dropping over the hill first glimpse of Gitchee Gummee. There are several wicked cool cascades that have spectacular waterfalls. My favorite. The Temperance river. We made the hike up to the cauldrons .What a great day  we had. She always had that sweet disposition/attitude every time despite the harsh valiant fight. I am better for knowing her. And a big nod to Jim for being a championchip friend.

I have very few memories of my childhood that don’t involve Nicole. Rollerskating, playing Blues Brothers ( only she and Rachel R would know what that means), playing Barbies, playing “store”, spying on Brian, feeding the neighbors dog questionable treats, climbing the fence, and so many more. Nicole was in the fabric of my life and always will be. She lived a fuller life than most people without the challenges she faced and was truly inspiring. I love you Nicole! And Donna, Tom, Brian and the rest of the family - I love you guys  ❤️

I am certainly writing this with a heavy heart, but also a thankful one as well, for All that Nicole brought to my Life as well as so many others. 

The Swan Family was fortunate to have her as a part of our Tribe !

So many great memories of time spent, 4th of July celebrations, live music, and Family celebrations and Holidays. 

I am sure that we will be together again, probably on her favorite beach with powdered sand and nothing but sunshine !

I am blessed and so fortunate for the time spent, you were truly an Angel.

Nicole was a very compassionate and kind person she was understanding of others and willing to modify her schedule in order to accommodate others. She was a loving person. I am saddened by her passing  and  Nicole will be greatly missed.

My sweet Nicole, you will never know how much I love you. Your smile you're beautiful blonde hair, your infectious laugh and positive attitude will stay with our family forever. Never have I known anyone with such life challenges to be so positive and cheerful all the time. When I would see you the last few years MY heart would hurt but you were always just you!!  Strong  and determined, thoughtful and kind  so as not to let  the disease that plagued your body define you.   I would leave with a smile in my heart because you  made everyone feel comfortable, loved and appreciated. You have left this life to soon, but I know that you are free again to run and spread your light  to others.  I will always hear your laugh and see your smile.  Until we meet again beautiful girl. You are missed! ❤️

I will always remember the day I met Nichole. When I opened the door at out house in Heritage, I saw what looked like an angel. She was dressed in classy clothes with her beautiful butter blonde hair, and a smile that was so was so genuine I immediately adored her!
Nicole was the only person I've ever known that was always pleasant and found the good in everyone & everything. She touched my heart when she was the only one (aside from brother Jimmy) that stayed by my side  & provided me with the loving support when I was pregnant with my son.
She was the only one that threw me a baby shower & made my heart smile; believing in me that I was going to be a good mother, and that everything was going to be okay....
She went on to be a very special person in my son's life in which he & I both cherish to this day. We were so very fortunate for her to be in our lives, and we will always love her!
Rest in power, Nicole!
I know God has a special.place for you in Heaven, and we will see you again someday!

Nicole was always so sweet to me, there was not a single person in the world with a nicer soul. She was always so friendly and always gave the best hugs. No one could ever replicate how good of a person she was. I love you Nicole, thank you so much for being a special part of all of our lives.

I just want to thank you, for the valuable lessons you gave us. That what ever the situation we are in, a smile and positive attitude will always make a huge difference. Thank you for giving Marisol and I the opportunity  to have  been a part of your  life.

No matter what Nicole was going through, she always found a way to keep a positive attitude and kept others smiling. She was the strongest person I knew who never let anything keep her down. I'll never forget how tough and strong Nicole was in this lifetime. She always enjoyed life and had a way of being a ray of sunshine. I’ll miss you Nicole.

While I only knew Nicole for two years, she was always so pleasant to be around and genuinely kind. Most recently, over the 4th of July, Nicole, Jimmy, Bob, and I decided to have a night out to celebrate. We had so much fun singing along to a Beastie Boys cover band, watching a drone fireworks show downtown, and ending the night with burgers at Candlelight Inn! I will always remember Nicole for the fun times, and I’m blessed that we crossed paths.

I’m so incredibly sad to be writing this. She was seriously the best person I’ve ever met. She cared so much about everyone and always showed it. The cards she made me growing up were always the most special and make with so much love, I held on to so many of them. She always had a smile on her face. I love how much she loved my family and especially my kids. She would always give them Christmas presents and buy them the newest books by celebrities and it meant the world to me. She will be dearly missed and was gone way too soon. Rest in peace sweet Nicole.

Rest in peace, Nicole. You were such a beautiful soul. I will miss you dearly. I remember your fun sense of humor, your incredible knack for creativity (& so much talent), and your ability to suffer humbly and without complaint. You were such a good role model for me. To her family: I am so sorry for this immense loss. I am praying for you all.

How you leaving us too soon is so bittersweet. So bitter for us who are left to feel your absent each day. To miss you and wish for more time, experiences and laughs with you. But sweet for you to feel free from a body that was not perfect.  
I have cherished your faithful friendship from the start. I have been so blessed by your friendship for 32 years now.  Your love and support of me, my children and my dumb life’s struggles has always meant so much.  I love you Colee, I love your kindness, your strength,  your laughter, and your determination not to let life’s circumstances get the best of you.  Much love now and always!

Colee was, for all intents and purposes, my aunt. From the day that I was born, she spoiled me with so much love and affection and treated me like family. She hung up pictures of me, came to all my birthday parties, had me over for sleep overs, took me on outings and loved me so, so much. I am so grateful for the memories I have of her and for all the love she gave. I love you, Colee.

My friendship with  Nicole started in the most unexpected place -BINGO. I’m convinced she was my lucky charm that first summer we met! We could barely see through the cloud of smoke, but it didn’t matter because that was the moment our beautiful friendship truly began. Nicole was incredible – full of fun, positivity, and adventure. And, of course, she could handle Jimmy, which said a lot! He kept her laughing and on the move, traveling to new places and creating wonderful memories. She brought so much light into my life and everyone around her. She will be missed deeply, but her spirit and all the joy she shared will stay with us forever.

The Swan family get togethers were always more fun with Nicole around. She has the most positive spirit and biggest smile. 
I have no doubt that Dorothe and Jim greeted her with open arms.
