Nancy Lou Nye

Nancy was born in Plano, Illinois on January 10, 1952. She is survived by her husband Christian (Chris) Nye, son Cory James Nye and sister Jackie (Moose) Kregas. She was predeceased by her parents Glenn and Ruth (Munson) Jordan and brother Terry Jordan. Nancy graduated from Plano High School in 1970.

On March 4, 1978, Nancy married Chris in Estes Park, Colorado and brought their son Cory into this world on January 7, 1981 in Hurst, Texas.

Over the years, Nancy, Chris and Cory were fortunate to live in many different parts of the U.S. and England including San Francisco, Washington D.C., Dallas, Atlanta, London, Seattle and Denver.

She cherished her times and relations with her husband, son, George and Jackie Kregas and extended family of nephew John Kregas.

Nancy loved to laugh and have fun and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family or playing bingo and an occasional slot machine. She also loved her canine companions and watching nearly every Colorado Rockies baseball game in-person or on television.

The memorial service will be held on 4/23/2023 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery at 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Her final resting place will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Portville, NY with her husband at a later date.
