Sylvia stood in as a grandmother to me, years after my own grandmother passed away. From the first time we met, she was generous, loving, and kind. She made my husband and I feel like we were part of her family, and we're very honored. Sylvia made the best green chili and we enjoyed many meals with her and Leroy. We will miss her greatly, but we take comfort in the fact that we knew, she knew, that she was ready to depart. We love you, Sylvia.

Maria was such a wonderful and generous person that we were blessed to know. She is just in a higher place now sharing her kindness more than ever.  She was a very unique person and always welcomed us with open arms to her home.  We will greatly miss her but know that she will always be with us in spirit.

Losing a loved one is hard, but she lived for the Lord and is with him now.

Sylvia will always be remembered. Her spunk, her smile, and of course her hats and shoes. Always a lady and always kind, she will be remembered and missed. Praise the Lord, our heavenly Father for providing our eternal life. Sylvia is alive--she's exchanged her "earth suit" for divine apparel. Blessings, comfort, and love to all those in her family.

Matthew 25:23: His lord said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” As we experience the blessing of a new year, I am constantly reminded of the faithfulness of God.

Leroy and Sylvia’s home was always a safe place to me.  A welcoming place. A peaceful place.  Sylvia always fed us when we went to her home. She fed us delicious food. More importantly, she fed us the word of God. She fed us a precedent of what to strive for in life. A beautiful and shining example of what was possible with hard work, love of family and faith. I am forever impacted by her grace and kindness. I believe with my whole heart that she is rejoicing in heaven. My prayers are with the family as they navigate the loss of their beloved matriarch.

Grandma was so excited when she found out She was having another great granddaughter! Charlee and grandma had a special bond.
