Born in Belisario Dominguez, Chihuahua on October 23, 1957, Luis, known as Carlos to all, eventually settled in Lakewood, Colorado where he resided for nearly forty years.
A committed gardener, professional Denver Broncos fan, full-time storyteller and dedicated jokester, Carlos also had an undeniable talent for making you feel like family whether he knew you for five minutes or years. Among his many loves, Carlos loved his family the most. Married for forty-two years to his wife, Deborah. Not only was he an outstanding husband he was an impeccable father to his daughters Cristal and Sabrina. His visits home to Mexico brought him back to his first love, the ranch life he grew up in. His home away from home was behind the wheel of his truck. For over thirty-one years he proudly represented Specialty Wood Products throughout the mountain corridor.
Preceded in death by his father, Jose Maria Ruiz Gomez, his mother Rosenda Andazola Chacon and his brothers Sergio Octavio Ruiz Andazola and Jose Pepito Ruiz Andazola.
Carlos is survived by his wife, Deborah Ruiz, his daughters Cristal Ruiz (Jason Trujillo) and Sabrina Ruiz. His grandchildren Carsen and Madisen Trujillo. His only living brother, Homero Ruiz Andazola and his two sisters Luz Olivia Ruiz Escobar and Olaya Maria Ruiz Andazola. In addition to extended family and friends.
Carlos will be missed by many, but never truly forgotten as his impact and legacy is infinite.
