It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lena Ann Lockwood of Denver, Colorado. She passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Clermont Retirement Home here in Denver. She was born in Ovid Colorado, the 10th of 11 brothers and sisters on June 10th, 1928. She graduated from Ovid High School in 1946. She was 96 years old.
She is survived by her two sons, Allyn Bruce, and Stephen Neil Lockwood, of Denver, her grandchildren, Amory Wilson Lockwood of Centennial CO, Claire Rachel Lockwood of Scottsdale AR, and Laura Christine Arledge, and two great-grandchildren of Fort Collins, CO.
Lena was a beloved and loving wife and Mother of our family. Nothing was more important to her than the health, and safety of her family. She could've done many things with her life, but her real and complete commitment was to our family.
The funeral service will be held at Risen Christ Catholic Parish 3060 S Monaco Parkway in Denver at 10:00 on December 18, 2024. The graveside service will be held at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery 6601 S. Colorado Blvd in Centennial, Colorado on the same day. The service and burial will be private.
