Judy Hass Olson

Judy was born July 2, 1949 in Williston, ND to Coralie (Lien) Hass and William Richard Hass. She was married January 25, 1968 to Private Reid E. Grayson, Jr., who died in the Vietnam War. She later married Burton Allen Olson of Crosby, ND on 11/27/1971. Judy worked at the ASCS office in Crosby for 30 years, retiring in 2008. She was a member of the VFW and an active member of Peace Lutheran Church. Judy loved baking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Coralie and William Hass. She is survived by her husband, Burton Olson, her three children Wendi (Grayson) Smith, Chanda (Olson) Florendo, Larry Olson, grandchildren Jessica Smith, Rebecca Smith, Samantha Smith, great grandchildren Cian Nichols, Sophia Nichols, siblings Linda Schilke, Cheryl Ouren, Randy Hass, and numerous nieces and nephews. “Judymom” was greatly loved and will be so missed by all of those fortunate enough to have known her.

A viewing will be held at Stakston-Martin Funeral Home in Crosby, North Dakota on Friday, May 8 and Judy's funeral service will be at Peace Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 9 with burial in the adjacent churchyard.
