Jack (Jackie/Jackie Ray to his siblings) was born on June 30, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to William “Bill” and Alma Greeson, forth of six kids. He was raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas and joined the Air Force at age 18. Jack was stationed at Buckley Air Force base in Aurora, Colorado and served 2.5 years as a jet mechanic. Jack retired at age 75 after a career as a foreman of a commercial painting company.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Alma Greeson, and brother Ronald Greeson.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of almost 30 years, Linda (Ingbretson) Greeson; son, Randy and his wife Kim; son Jim and his wife Stephanie; step daughter, Aspen Vanhoorebeck and her husband Nick; and step daughter Brittany McKenna and her husband Colin. Jack is survived by eight grandchildren: Amber Schumacher, Tyler Greeson, Jack Greeson, Phoenix Bramhall, Charley Vanhoorebeck, Emery McKenna, Oliver McKenna, and Isla McKenna; two great grandchildren: Calvin Schumacher and Audrey Schumacher; his siblings: Glenda Reynalds, Bill Greeson, Patti Childs, and Sandy Tate, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jack was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener. He loved old country music, Linda’s Earthquake cake, watching the beautiful Colorado sunsets, growing flowers around his yard, and building things.
Jack’s Memorial Service will be held outside under a covered pavilion at Olinger Cemetery- Chapel Hill, located at 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Littleton, CO 80121 on June 4, 2021 at 2pm. Please join us after for outside refreshments at 16399 E 12th Ave Aurora CO 80011.
