Dawn Elizabeth Hines born May 1st 1962 in Pocatello, Idaho was called home to be with her Lord on January 18th 2024. She was the daughter of David and Angeline (Stendal) Eike, following the passing of Angeline, Dawn was raised by David and Patsy (Pegues) Eike. Dawn grew up in Idaho spending her childhood days on her grandparents ranch in Montana and their family cabin with her brothers Rick, Steve, Eric and sisters Sally, Sarah and Shirley. In 1979 Dawn moved to Colorado where she spent her life raising her children and admiring Colorado's beauty.
Dawn had a passion for teaching young children and spent many years in Early Childhood Education. In 2008 she completed her certification as a Montessori school teacher.
Dawn was a devoted Christian and member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church where she was a Nursery Supervisor for 12 years. She attended Bible Study, volunteered for bake sales, gatherings and made long lasting friendships through her love at church.
Dawn was a PTA mom who dedicated years to her children's activities and school events. She treasured her time in nature. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, gardening and spending every chance she could with her grandchildren. She adored her grandkids, she loved being a Nana and was an avid Broncos fan.
Dawn is survived by her children Angela (Rylan) Hines and children Kyler and Natalie of Centennial; Devin (Brian) Lopeman and children Christian, Samantha, Brooklyn, Shiloh and Aria of Thornton; Jd of Parker.
