Charles W. Bristow passed away peacefully with family on Sunday, March 12, 2017. His memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Olinger Chapel Hills, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121. Service will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a reception. A procession to Fort Logan will begin at 12:45 pm.

Charles is survived by his daughters, Kelly Lehto and Kim Sutton-Morr, his sons Bill Bristow and Bob Bristow. His son-in-law’s, John Lehto and Tim Morr. His grandchildren, Jessica Bristow, Jourdan Sutton, Alix Sutton, Justin Sutton, Brendan Morr, Madison Morr, Mellissa Robertson and Nathaniel Bristow. He was preceded in death by his wife Cleo “Pat” Bristow and his parents, Winifred Bristow and Charles L. Bristow.
Charles was born in Ash Flat Arkansas and was raised on his family’s farm. He graduated high school at 16 and then enlisted in the Air Force. He proudly served for 22 years before retiring. He then went to work for Gates Rubber Company where he retired after 22 years. He and Pat retired to Arizona in 1991 where he enjoyed playing golf. They moved back to Colorado in 2012 where they spent the rest of their retirement with their family.
