Thomas “Mike” M. Carroll was born on February 6, 1956 in Baltimore, MD to James and Joyce Carroll. He is survived by his children, Thomas (wife Faith) and Jillian, his brothers Jimmy (wife Tammy) and Chris, as well as his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, James and Joyce Carroll, and his brother Timothy. He was the Owner and President of Carroll Awning Company for 36 years. His greatest love was to spend time with his family and he was a devoted father to his children. Throughout his life, Mike established and nurtured many lifelong friends that have become like family. Some of his favorite places were the beach in Ocean City, MD and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He loved running and even completed a half marathon with his children, Thomas and Jillian. His life was cut way too short, but his memory will live on in the numerous hearts that he touched.
A memorial gathering will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 22 from 4-7pm at Overhills Mansion, 916 South Rolling Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. A memorial service celebrating Mike's life will begin at 4:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike’s memory to Believe In Tomorrow National Children's Foundation, 6601 Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21228.
