Mary Dolores Turner

On August 27, 2022; Mary Dolores Turner (nee Gabriel) passed away. She is the beloved wife of the late Gerald P. Turner; loving mother of Daniel Turner and his wife Patricia, Kathleen Linton and her husband the late Robert, Patricia Regalbuto and her husband Nazareno, Mary Turner and her husband Kenny, Martin Turner, and Robert Turner and his wife Laurie; devoted grandmother of Elizabeth Walter, Matthew Turner, Paul Turner, Chelsea Turner, Corey Turner, Christopher Turner, Dylan Dreyer, Sean Turner, and Brennan Turner; cherished great grandmother of Adam Turner, Jake Turner, Lyla Ansell, MaeLyn Ansell, and Naomi Turner; dear sister of Louise Pegg. Dolores leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed the company of her good friends, Helen Decker and Margaret Quick and their families, for many years.

Dolores loved children and was known as “everyone’s Mom” to neighborhood children, her children’s friends, and many others. She also loved family get-togethers, duckpin bowling, Scrabble, pinochle, quoits, and flower gardens. She was known for being a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Sodality and volunteered at both the church and school.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 31 from 10-11:30AM at the Chapel at Church of the Resurrection, 3175 Paulskirk Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21042. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30AM. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
