On December 27th, God called home his faithful servant Mary Thelma Miller. Born in Baltimore to parents Albert Frankenburg and Mary (Cacase) Frankenburg, she graduated from St Catherine’s school and went on to work for the B&O railroad. She met her husband, Hartman J Miller(deceased) in 1945 and later married in 1950. Thelma is survived by their 3 children, daughter Nancy, son Greg and wife Wendy and daughter Trish and husband Rocky.
She is further survived by 3 grandchildren, Christopher and wife Erin, Brad, and Kimberly and fiancé Justin, in addition to 4 great grandchildren Liam (and mother Kristine), Sloane, Shea and Nolan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, her caregivers Sarah, Theresa and Mandy, All dearly cherished.
Thelma retired from working at UMBC after over 30 years of service. In her later years she enjoyed swimnastics, travel, volunteering for the church and caring for her granddaughter.
Thelma passed peacefully after a lengthy illness and is very thankful for the care of family members and caregivers who supported her.
Friends may call at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home, 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD., on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Mark's Catholic Church on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 10:30am., Interment will follow at New Cathedral Cemetery, 4300 Old Frederick Rd., Baltimore., MD.
