Diane M. Baronella

Diane was born on February 2, 1948 in Baltimore, MD to Joe and Dorothy McCue.

She met John Baronella when she was 14 years old and they married six years later on September 7, 1968. Diane was a stay at home mom to their two children, Angela and Michael.

Diane loved being a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed listening to the word of God preached by founding Pastor, Rev. Earl M. Johnson, Jr. and now by Dr. Jerry Harmon. She made a point of greeting new faces that she saw in the congregation, asking them their names, and then making sure that she would greet them by name the next time that she saw them. She also made a point of encouraging "old" friends that she would talk to after each service.

Diane also loved being Mom-Mom to her two granddaughters, Alyssa and Payton. They would come to visit at would always be excited to do crafts, play games, put on fashion shows, make treats (especially pizzelle cookies at Christmas Time!), and watch I Love Lucy reruns which would always bring lots of laughter. She would sing hymns and tell them how much Jesus loves them.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Angela Baronella; her five grandchildren, Alyssa (Ryan) Bohm, Payton Baronella-O'Toole and Ronan, Liam and Teresa O'Toole; along with their cousins, Kalya and Aden Sabur; her brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Janice McCue; and sister-in-law Dolores Tillery. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

A memorial service for Diane will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 1518 N. Rolling Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Grace Bible Baptist Church, 1518 North Rolling Road, Catonsville, MD 21228.
