Bradford Dwayne Knott, Sr., a long-time resident of Morrell Park, passed away on April 15, 2020 from lung cancer. He was born in Mt. Solon, Virginia on July 18,1934 and was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He had a love for meeting people, telling stories, yard saling, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, but not a good loser. He worked very hard to support his large family and proudly worked 35 years for Carling's Brewery without ever taking a sick day (he would tell you that). He is predeceased in death by his parents, Herman and Avis Knott, as well as 2 of his sons, Phillip and William. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marlyn J. Knott (Bartels); his children Molly Polis (husband Tom), Bradford Knott, Jr. (wife Melvina), Pamela Brewer (husband Ivan), Denise Westcott (husband Jeffery Wilson), and Jeanette DeMarais. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 5 of his 9 siblings, as well as many other dear family members and friends.
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, restrictions set by the State of Maryland Government and to ensure everyone's safety, the graveside services will be private. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a future date for all friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
