Alma, I will never forget the love you showed me my entire life.  You were my aunt but I thought of you as my friend and often as a second mother.  You were always there to talk to; you always showed that you cared by listening well and offering love, support and honesty.  Sometimes it was hard for me to receive your advice and correction but I trusted you and knew you loved me.    You introduced me to root beer floats, Perquacky, singing popular songs and dancing.  I’d often spend the night when Dick worked nights and those were some of the things we did for fun.   I was just a kid but you always made time for me.  As an adult with a house full of kids it seemed there was never enough money for extras and one day you surprised me with  a new dishwasher to replace our old broken one.  You and Dick lived a simple life but always found ways to bless others with your wealth of love.  I’ll always love you and I look forward to seeing you again in Heaven with our Savior, Jesus!

My sincere sympathy is extended to the Fisher family.  Alma and I were classmates in Catonsville Senior High School and graduated together in 1959.  We served together on the Reunion Committee as the committee enjoyed Alma's hospitality during meetings in recent years.   May the love you have for her and each other strengthen you during this time of adjusting to moving on in the days ahead.

Dearest Alma - you were my first love (18), and we shared a warm  and, at times, high-spirited two years dating.  I was a bit shy and it was hard to "keep you in sight" as we plowed through our late teen years.  I learned so much about love, life, and relationships being with you.   I loved being with your dynamic family - it was always an adventure and you made sure I shared in it.  Even though we lost touch for 40+ years, when we finally caught up it was fun, all over again!!!  I treasured our many phone calls and CHS reunion chats in the years since, especially our mutual affection for our dear friends Marty and Lynn.   I know you hated being reminded  of this, but Tim Bellis' tribute to you at our 50th reunion picnic was SO on the point! Through all these, I gained a much deeper respect and admiration for you as a woman and as a mom.  I will miss our talks, and I really do miss you.

My deepest condolences to Uncle Richard, Peggy, Kasey and David. I remember many conversations with Aunt Alma at the dining room table when Rob and I came to visit. She always ask about my kids and truly shared her love for her family and her faith! 
I’m sorry for your loss but it gives me much joy to know she is now with her Savior, Jesus. I can only imagine how she is enjoying her complete restoration of seeing and feeling all the beauty of her eternal home in Heaven.

Taking a moment to honor the life of Mrs. Fisher. I attended middle school with her daughter, Kasey and it’s been many years, but I remember Mrs. Fisher having a humorous wit and presence when she was around. We were all just kids back then, but this memory stands out to me. 

To Kasey and all of the family, I pray your memories continue to be clear, and good so that you can call on them when you need they the most. Sincerest condolences.

Dear Alma, how I will miss you. We had over fifty years of friendship,
and I really don't know how to say goodbye.  I can only imagine the thrill of seeing your parents and siblings again.  Until we are together, I love you.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I remember letting your Mom cut Kyle’s rat tail when he was a toddler.
