My sweet beautiful niece, I’m so sorry that I have to wait to be in heaven to talk with you again.  You were the most adorable, tender hearted little girl with the SWEETEST  smile ever!!      I’m so grateful for the memories of our (too few) sleepovers, talking late into the night about anything and nothing just for the fun of it.  I’m sorry I moved away and missed out on  so much of life with you.  I love you precious Valerie. See you in heaven!💗

My heart completely grieves for my sister, Ruthie, and for Scott, Aaron, Tracie, and Ryan. I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved daughter and sister. I never got to spend much time with you and Valerie, but I am very grateful for the time we did have. Valerie was as sweet as could be and it was a blessing to keep in contact with her, even with the distance between us. I loved her and I love all of you. May the Lord bring comfort and healing to every heart that Valerie touched.

My friend you were truly one of a kind! You touched everyone that you met. You are such a bright beautiful soul that will be missed by so many! I remember staying up late talking about the endless possibilities and watching scary movies with you ! Also all the gorgeous  hikes we went on. You always knew just how to make people laugh and feel loved ! You will forever have a place in my heart my friend!

I know these past few years we haven't been the closest but there was a time in my life you were a sister to me. We have shared so many memories good and bad. I feel so blessed that I had the opportunity to get to know you and be your teacher as you finished up high school. You drew everyone around you in with your warmth ,kindness, and concern for others. I was so fortunate to get a glimpse of what a magnificent soul you have through the beautiful words you wrote and in the interactions we had. You will not be forgotten you sweet, brave, and wonderful girl.

I am heart broken for your entire family, whom I have known for many years.  My sincere heart felt condolences go out to all of your family and friends. Words can not express what I feel for your precious profound loss.  I have been praying for God to help your hearts.  May your beautiful Valerie forever Rest in Peace in glorious Heaven. Valerie was an absolutely one of a kind soul. The amount of love and happiness she radiated was so comforting, she was the type of girl you could trust from the moment you met her. Valerie took me under her wing when I was just an awkward 13 year old girl struggling with life. She saw this, and although she was years older she welcomed me with open arms, she showed me it’s okay to be whoever I was meant to be.  Valerie has cried with me, laughed with me, and Valerie encouraged me to live my life not only for myself but for her. Valerie, you saved my life and so much more, you showed me how to live, how to trust, and how to hold a friend so dear to my heart. And although I wish we could’ve had so much more time together I am eternally grateful to have gotten to spend the time I did, loving and being loved by the best friend I could have asked for. I saw that beautiful aura of yours last night and it was the biggest relief I’ve felt since you left. I’ll see you again somewhere in the stars, thank you for being in my life Val I couldn’t have imagined it without you. Rest In Peace beautiful, you are forever loved.

I am bewildered I got so lucky to have a best friend like you, no matter how little time we got to spend on this earth together. I think in alot of different ways we can have soul mates, and I know one thing for sure is that you were my soul mate. In my entire existence I have never met a soul like yours; you lit up a room by your very presence. There was never a dull moment when you were around. You were always there for me and when I was with you it felt like home. Words cannot describe how beautiful you are, nor how much you meant to me. You touched so many people and you are widely loved. You made the biggest impact on my life and you will be my best friend forever. I think about you every day and I miss you every second. I will never meet another person as amazing as you are, and I hope to see you again some day in the stars. ♡

Its hard to gather words to explain how beautiful you were inside and out. I want to thank you for all the time we shared. Our childhood memories like the swing set, silly songs we made up, polly pockets and oreos for injuries will always have a special place in my heart.           You were so much more than just my baby sister. You were my best friend, confidant, and counselor. You were always there for me no matter what and I will forever appreciate the person you were. The strength and will of yours was amazing, the ability to stand your ground and Stick up for what you believe in was unbelievable. You were wise beyond your years for sure. The awesome memories we shared are endless. You were always the one who could make my stomach muscles hurt for days from laughing, even when nothing was funny we'd look at each other and start cracking up, or when we would see who could make the best Tracey face omg that never got old. You are gods most beautiful angel now and I'm sure you're gonna keep an eye on me. All of the hurt and pain from this cruel world will be lifted off of your shoulders and vanish for good. I hope your saving me a seat right next to you baby sister. Thank you for the amazing 21 years that I was fortunate to be a part of because this world will be a shade less bright without you. Your always welcome to visit  my dreams. I'm gonna miss you more than you will ever know. I would have done anything to save you! I love you lil sis and we will be together again in heaven and everything will be perfect!

Through all the pain that has happened, one thing I keep imagining is you flying around as a transparent spirit visiting everyone and still hanging out. Making sure people are ok- never missing out; and although you may physically be gone spiritually you will very much be there always and every day❤ I'm so glad our paths crossed val and untill we meet again I'll miss you every day, and I hope your there with me when I go to herbs and arts next time like we used to.

I remember the day I first met Valerie. I had just walked to the skate park and when I saw her, this warmth and light instantly touched my soul. We had walked into the forest and laid in the grass, watching the sunset. We talked for hours. Every once in awhile when I'd look over at her I got goosebumps. I knew from that day on that she was my person.  That day was one of the best days of my life. I am so unbelievably grateful for every single second I got to spend with her and her family.  Thank you so much Valerie for everything you taught me and thank you for being the bestest friend a girl could ever ask for. 
I love you forever and always. 

Valerie was on of the most intelligent, creative and kind people you would ever meet. From the moment she was born I knew my newest little niece  would grow into a beautiful young woman and she did exactly that. 
I was so proud of at her high school graduation - look out world, here she comes!!!
We won’t know the fullness of the great things she would have done on this earth, my heart is broken that I won’t see here again in this life. 
I am comforted in knowing I will see her again and that she is in a glorious place - as Ecclesiastes says: “Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit” (Valerie’s spirit) “will return to God who gave it.”

You were the first baby I ever held, and the first I have to let go of. My heart aches knowing we’ll never see each other again. 

The hardest part there is about dying are the ones who get left behind. I know you get to rest easy now, and I can’t wait to see you on the other side. Save us a camping spot so we can jet ski again someday. 



Valerie was a shining light since the day she was born, and her infectious smile  touched so many of those around her. The world is a worse place without her, but her memory will love on in our hearts forever. 

My heart breaks knowing I’ll never see my best friend again. Since birth Valerie and I were pals. We told each other everything. We grew up only a street or two away from each other. Whenever I needed something, or just a shoulder to cry on she was there. Now I have to go on without my person. I know you are finally at rest from all your demons. You fought this battle every day and now you can find peace. You left me way too soon buddy but i’ll see you again.

My daughter Valerie has the most beautiful, artist, creative, talented spirit God has ever gave to someone. You could see her creativity in everything she touched, from her bedroom decor to the way she did her makeup. She loves her makeup! She was never a follower but a leader. She was head strong and anyone who knew her well, knew that. Her beautiful spirit will live on forever through her family.

My heart breaks to hear about the passing of such a wonderful soul.

You quickly become one of my best friends once I started attending frontier high school, and I will forever be grateful of the memories we were able to make together. Such a kind hearted person who cared about all individuals. 

I’m so thankful I got the privilege of knowing you, and you will forever be missed. 

This is not a goodbye, but it’s a see you later! Rest In Peace, girl!
