Blake, her partner and soulmate of nearly 25 years, with whom she built a beautiful life since their marriage on February 15, 2002. Together, Tiffany and Larry shared an unwavering love, one that grew stronger through their many adventures, family milestones, and shared dreams.
Born and raised in Portage, Indiana, Tiffany graduated from Portage High School and attended Purdue University Northwest, an achievement that marked the beginning of her fulfilling career as Director of Program Management for Altumint. Tiffany was dedicated to her work and was passionate about the positive impact her team brought to communities across the country.
Tiffany was predeceased by her father, Patrick F. Witka; her paternal grandparents, Richard "Dicky" and Fran Thomas; and her maternal grandparents, Randy and June Reames. She is survived by her loving husband Larry A. Blake (Castle Rock, CO) amazing children: Patrick (Houston, TX), Rylee (Boulder, CO), and Brennan (Castle Rock, CO); her granddaughter Everleigh Lynn LaFlam (Boulder, CO) who was born just four days after Tiffany’s passing; her sister, Julie (Scott) Anderson; her sister-in-law, Holly (Steve) Cooper of Queen Creek, AZ; her mother, Vicki Witka of Portage, IN; and her parents-in-law, Larry W. and V. Diana Blake of Queen Creek, AZ. Tiffany was also the adoring aunt of Cole, Nick, Tyler Anderson and Tyler and Dylan Cooper, and a beloved friend to many, including Stacy and Brian Guenther and Jessica and Karl Schreiner.
Tiffany’s love for life was contagious. She was passionate about volunteering with 2 Blondes All Breed Rescue, fostering numerous dogs and welcoming Mya, Luigi, Wrigley, Gunnar, and Fenway into her family. Her compassion extended to her community, where she served on the Douglas County High School Athletic Board and supported youth athletics by cooking meals and cheering on her children’s sports teams.
Family vacations were a cornerstone of Tiffany’s life. She especially cherished trips with Larry and the children to the sunny beaches of Mexico and Florida, where they created countless memories. Whether it was watching her kids build sandcastles, sharing laughter during family dinners, or simply soaking up the sun together, these moments were among her most treasured.
Tiffany loved the peace and beauty of Colorado, finding joy in its stunning morning sunrises and breathtaking evening sunsets. She enjoyed weekends in Estes Park and Breckenridge. She eagerly awaited the arrival of her first grandchild, Everleigh Lynn LaFlam, whose presence will carry forward Tiffany’s legacy of love, joy, and warmth.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tiffany’s memory to Melanoma Research Foundation - http://www.melanoma.org. Tiffany battle melanoma like a warrior in a storm. She often said, “I don’t ask, ‘why me?- I ask, ‘Why not me?” Through her words and her example, she reminded us all to find strength, purpose, and perspective in adversity. Her lasting wish was to urge everyone to take their health seriously and please, check with your dermatologist often. And above all, she wanted us to seize each day, cherish every moment, and never take for granted the ones we love.
Tiffany’s life was a testament to love, generosity, and kindness. Her unwavering spirit and open heart touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but will live on through the countless lives she brightened and her family and friends who will carry her light forward.
RIP my sweet love.
