He was born in Denver Colorado on March 27, 1936. After graduating from Westminster High School he joined the Navy where he became a Navy Corpsman. Bob was a true Patriot and was forever proud of the fact he served his Country and was a Veteran of the Navy. After leaving the Navy he used his medical skills as a Paramedic in Northglenn Colorado. Bob’s employment throughout the rest of his life was extremely varied with a great deal of his time spent in sales.
Robert (Bob) is survived by his wife Danalee Moore, his three children Robert Moore Jr, Duane (Michelle) Moore and Cheryl (Bill) Rooney. Two stepchildren Peter (Kathy) Palamara and Michael (Meagan) Palamara. Bob also leaves behind 8 Grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his brother Gary (Joan) Moore as well as the mother of his children Loraine Moore and his sister in-law Sherry Moore.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Margaret Moore and His brother Richard (Dick) Moore.
Throughout the entirety of Bob’s life, he was actively involved in his church in varying capacities from holding the position of Chairman of the Board of Deacons to eventually being a loyal church member. His faith was the foundation of who he was.
Bob is fondly remembered as a warm, approachable person that loved to talk to anyone anywhere anytime. Some have said that he “had the gift of gab”.
Bob also loved the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and “Jeeping”. He helped create many fond memories with those that he enjoyed spending time with outside in the Great Outdoors.
Bob also loved puttering in his impressively equipped woodshop where he could while away the hours and days as he strove for perfection with his woodshop creations.
He also found great enjoyment in playing Santa for several years at Big R in Monument Colorado (one of the places he worked later in life). He was very believable in the role as the jolly old soul.
Bob was always passionate about politics. He was chosen as a Representative of the Colorado Republican Caucus always keeping his finger on the pulse of local and National politics.
