A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced at the First Methodist Church in Castle Rock. The loving husband of Clara Ellen {Yates} Esposito, he is survived by his wife, son Joseph and wife Judy, daughter Victoria, granddaughters Jennifer (and husband Brandon), Elizabeth(and husband Cody), Danielle, Nicole, and Erin and by great-grandchildren Sophia, Casey, Nathan, and Miles.
Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1924, Joe entered the Coast Guard in 1942 and proudly served as ship's cook during WWII until his honorable discharge in 1946. His life, mainly in food and beverage services, took him to East Moline, Illinois, Jacksonville, Florida, San Antonio, Texas, and finally the last fourteen years in Castle Rock. A beloved family man, "Poppy" will be greatly misssed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
