John G. Hoagland, 83, longtime resident of Castle Rock, passed away peacefully at home November 13, 2010. He was born to John G. and Mabel C. Hoagland in Littleton, Colorado. Virginia, his wife of 57 years, recently passed away. He was also preceded in death by three of his brothers, Gordon, Russell, and Robert and is survived by brother Bill (Phyllis), sister Marie, and numerous nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his children, Cindy (Pieter) Tackenberg, David Hoagland, and Don (Jay) Hoagland; granddaughters Kristena (Shane) Heiter, Johanna (Joe) Bockenfeld, Virginia (Eric) Herzberg, Sonja Hoagland; and great-granddaughters Gwen and Ana Herzberg.
