Chris was born on March 6th to Dale and Peggy Larson in the city of Fergus Falls. After Chris graduated from Central High School in 1997, he pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wyoming, graduating with a Master's Degree.
After graduation, Chris worked in Aerospace engineering for over 20 years with Lockheed Martin. Chris was passionate about Aerospace and he loved what he did for a living.
In 1999, Chris met Lisa at the Sigma Chi house. Chris and Lisa dated for 6 years and married in 2005. Together they finished school and moved to the Denver area. They loved to travel, camp with friends, and spend time at the lake in Minnesota. Later they built a house and life in Castle Rock, where they welcomed their boys Ryan and Grant. Life with the boys brought a new sense of adventure with the addition of soccer, baseball, golfing, and travel as a family.
Chris also enjoyed golfing in a work league, neighborhood cornhole tournaments, playing in a poker league, and beating friends and family in multiple fantasy football leagues. Chris was known for his sense of humor, dad jokes and quick wit, which was readily shared with all who knew him.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents Oscar and Delores Larson, and grandmother Sue McCameron. Chris is survived by his wife Lisa; sons Ryan and Grant; father Dale (Lori) Larson; mother Peggy Larson; sister Jennifer (John) Hofherr; grandfather Robert (Marian) Carlson; and many members of his extended family.
