Edward loved working to support his family, his occupations varied through the years. He was employed as a custodian for the school in Casa Blanca (Gila River) before his health prevented him from continuing.
He loved life, attending family gatherings and going to church, but most of all he loved being around his grandchildren and great grandchildren with whom he gave many nicknames and enjoyed their company. He was a kind and loving father, husband, grandpa, uncle and friend to many. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Edward entered into rest on July 17, 2024.
His son Timothy Peters preceded him into rest, along with a Brother Virgil Lewis and a sister Mary F. Jose.
Edward is survived by his wife Verda Lewis. His Children: Lesile and Maegan Lewis. Calvin, Mason, Hayden and Deazerie Peters all of Casa Blanca, 15 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
