Susan Elizabeth May

Susan Elizabeth May, 56, of Cary, NC, passed away peacefully in her home on April 12, 2012 after battling a long illness. Born on December 16, 1955 in Somerset, NJ, she was the daughter of Mary K. Murray and the late Hugh Murray of Green Brook, NJ.

Susan was the office manager at Sebastian and Spalding DDS in Cary and an active member of Cary Church of God.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 37 years Kevin R. May, her two sons Justin R. May and wife Kimberly of Chicago, IL, and Kevin T. May and wife Alicia and their newborn daughter, Andelyn Grace May, all of Wilmington, NC, sisters Mary Sandholm and husband Roger, Linda Garcia and husband John, all of Scotch Plains, NJ, and Sharon Bolzan and husband Jim, of Phillipsburg, NJ, sister-in-law Gayle Murray, of Frenchtown, NJ and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Hugh, and her brother, the late Hugh D. Murray.

Family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home at 200 SE Maynard Road in Cary. Memorial Services will be held at the Cary Church of God on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 3:00 PM, with family to receive following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to support the establishment of a church in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where Susan traveled on mission trips. Donations should be directed to the Cary Church of God, 107 Quade Drive, Cary, NC, 27513 referencing the Susan May Memorial Church of Ecuador.
