Patricia Helen Marotta

Born March 31, 1939 in Lakeland, Florida, she went on to raise four loving children while working in the medical management field for over 30 years prior to retiring to Cary, NC.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Louis John Marotta, who was always by her side and provided her with never ending joy through his sense of humor and daily serenades.

She leaves behind endearing memories for her husband, her three sisters (Caryn, Cindy, and Jeanne), her three children, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her husband’s three children, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her son Michale Jaimeyfield and son-in-law Don Bailey.

Surviving children are Janisse Gass (Dale) Michele Bailey, and Richard Jaimeyfield (Brett). Grandchildren are Ryan McMurry (Jessica, son Everett) Melissa Byrne (Terrence, daughter Scarlett), Christopher Gass (Lauren, daughter Theo), Erin Bailey (Johny Argus, daughter Rory), and Dayna Bailey.

Other surviving family members include step children Louis Marotta Jr., Steven Marotta (wife Carol, daughter Stephanie) and Lynn Marotta (daughter Amanda, son Ryan) and great granddaughter Sophia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patti was an fiercely independent women, traits she passed on to her children and grandchildren. She loved her family immensely and will be deeply missed.

A funeral service for Patricia will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 Southeast Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Rd, Cary, NC 27519.
