Parker was born in Raleigh, NC, the third son of Diane and Will Stephenson, on December 27, 1990. He grew up in Cary among his extended family members. He loved his family and his numerous friends. Parker graduated from Cary High School in 2009.
He met and married the love of his life, Celeste Patterson, on January 7, 2017. He adored his son Brantley and was looking forward to the birth of his daughter, Ryleigh, in September.
Parker was an encourager to everyone he met. He was a great writer, and was passionate about his conservative beliefs. He was not afraid to speak his mind and would say what he believed even if he felt inadequate in saying it. He loved music and playing his guitar; he always treated people with kindness and loved his family. His granddaddy was his hero. He enjoyed playing basketball at Cary High School and was an avid Duke fan. Parker’s disease cannot touch the pure and true part of him. It never did and never could. His heart was pure and his love for his family was so deep. That love will always remain.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Judith Stephenson.
Parker is survived by his wife, Celeste Patterson Stephenson; son, Brantley Joseph Stephenson; daughter, Ryleigh Blaine Stephenson; parents, Will and Diane Stephenson; brothers, William, Martin and his wife Cassidy, Kendell and his wife Rachel, and Cameron and girlfriend Breanna Clayton; grandparents, David and Marilyn Martin; in-laws, Darran and Annette Patterson; Nephew, Mason Stephenson; nieces, Emma and Della Stephenson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and second mom, Myra Gammon.
