Molly L Sielatycki (nee Roncalli), aged 81, passed away with family at her side on November 14, 2024, in Cary, NC. Born on February 3, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, Molly was the embodiment of kindness and compassion, known for her golden heart and readiness to support those around her. Molly was a devoted Catholic and active member of her church.
She was a devoted mother to her three children and a loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren, who filled her life with joy and happiness.
Molly celebrated her Italian heritage and maintained lifelong connections with many of her classmates from Maple Heights High School.
Molly shared a beautiful life with her husband, Jim, until his passing in 2004. She was incredibly proud of his career as a Cleveland firefighter and maintained close relationships with the extended Sielatycki family, near and far. After his passing, Molly moved to The Villages, Florida, embracing a vibrant community life characterized by laughter and new friendships.
Professionally, Molly dedicated 25 years as an administrative manager for the City of Brunswick, Ohio. Upon her retirement, she was presented with a proclamation and key to the City of Brunswick. Molly loved to travel and enjoyed many cruises and trips overseas, especially to Italy. Her hobbies included golf, playing cards and mahjong, cooking, dancing, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
Molly is survived by her sons, Phil Sielatycki (Becky) and Gary Sielatycki (Florence); daughter, Laurie Byke (Chris); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jessica (Bryan), James (Emily), Christopher, Jensen, Theodore, Lauren, and Tess; Great Granddaughter Amelia (Jessica), sisters Carole Shaw and Frances Luthardt, and her dear friend and companion, Donald Burian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Sielatycki; parents, Charles and Amalia Roncalli; sister, Mary Anne Calahan; and brother, Charles Roncalli.
Details of the memorial services will be determined and announced at a later date. Molly's life and legacy will be celebrated, cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
